Turku Castle and Historical Museum

The Turku Castle is a cultural historical tourist attraction that is over 700 years old. The Castle has a museum, which demonstrates the history of the Turku region from prehistory to present day with its frequent exhibitions, events and furnished style rooms.

Museum visitors can join a guided tour or see the castle in their own pace. Guide books are sold at the ticket office. The Museum Shop Fatabur has a wide variety of high-quality products on sale. 

We're renewing the permanent exhibition in the Castle! The Main Castle and most of the Bailey are open to visitors during construction.
