Turku 2011 inspires creativity and self-expression in children and youth The local schools have been particularly active in providing ideas for the programme, and other parties operating in the areas of culture and art have also included children and youth, in one way or another, in their own proposals. |  |
The University of Turku obtained the second most graduate schools in Finland The Academy of Finland will provide funding for 16 graduate schools at the University of Turku and 6 graduate schools at Åbo Akademi University during the period 2010 – 2013. One of the decision criteria was e.g. the quality of the graduate schools. |  |
Lifetime learningWhat you start as a youngster, you master as an adult. Turku is a good place to grow and educate oneself.
