Child Welfare Officer Appointments

Contact Information

Child welfare officers take care of matters related to the determination and verification of paternity when the parents are not married with each other, as well as verify the agreements related to the child’s guardianship, residence, visiting rights, and maintenance.

After the acknowledgement of fatherhood the child welfare officer delivers the paternity documents to the register office, where the paternity is verified.

Appointments are booked from the City of Turku Welfare Division Family Law Unit, tel. +358 (0)2 262 5833, 9.00–10.00, or from one of the child welfare officers listed below by the surname of the child.

Please note! See the First Aid and Emergency Services section if you need guidance with child welfare matters.
