Sand Fields (Reservations)
Sand fields are classified into two categories according to their size: Small sand fields (max. 40x60 m) and big sand fields. The big sand fields comprise of small fields for small-sided games (min.40x60) and big fields (min. 45x95). Turku has 21 small sand fields (max. 40x60), 32 sand fields for small-sided games (min. 40x60) and 8 big sand fields. During the winter some fields are frozen for ice skating. The fields are covered with either sand or stone dust.
Reservable sand fields can be freely used, if and when they are not reserved. Both public and regular reservations for the sand fields can be made. Reservations are made through the Timmi reservation calendar, excluding the reservations for the member teams of the Finnish Football Association (SPL). Those teams should make their reservations through the SPL’s Turku district organization. Night time silence for the fields is at 22-07.
NB! Sand fields are separated by their location in the Timmi calendar into East (Itä) Turku and West (Länsi) Turku fields. By clicking the name of the field in the Places menu you can find the class to which the field belongs to.

NB! Sand fields are separated into East (Itä) Turku and West (Länsi) Turku fields in Timmi. By clicking the name of the field in the Places menu you can see in which class the field belongs to.
