Light Orienteering

Welcome to the wondrous adventure that will take you to experience Luminous Harmonies. You start the route from the Turku Main Library and end up at the park of the City Hall. There are eight checkpoints in the city center, each of which will make you fall in love with the diverse culture in Turku. Only by answering questions at each checkpoint, you may travel further.

By completing a few kilometers long route, you arrive at a breathtaking light installation. As a reward, you get to light up the installation and experience the combination of light and sound of Luminous Harmonies. Will you choose joyful party, mysterious sounds, or something else?

The event is held from 6th December 2023 until 7th January 2024. Participate daily between 4 PM to 9 PM. Instructions and location of the first checkpoint for the Light adventure in valosuunnistus.hoods.fi

Its aim is to help immigrants find the most suitable place to live and inspire people to visit interesting places and events. Activities such as neighbourhood orienteering and different excursion challenges move people from one municipality to another.
