The city’s Employment Services Centre provides guidance and counselling for long-term unemployed and youth unemployed. The Employment Services Centre works to help the customers find employment in companies, organizations, or the city. The centre has many initiatives that concentrate on the ability to work and function, and on entrepreneurship.
Employment Centre functions as a part of the Employment Services Centre. The Employment Centre is a unit which acts to inhibit social exclusion and produces vocational working life rehabilitation services.

Under 30-year-old unemployed youths or students can seek individual guidance and counselling in matters related to employment and education from Ohjaamo in Turku. Ohjaamo is located at Yliopistonkatu 25A. In the same address is also the guidance and information service Nuorten Turku, from where a youth can get guidance with other matters in his/her life.
