Christmas in the old days
Christmas preparations are in full swing in this rural village. The matron of Iso-Kohmo is busy at the stove, and the kitchen is filled with the enticing aromas of gingerbread cookies, traditional rutabaga casserole and lutefisk. In the master’s chamber, the radio plays Christmas carols, Christmas flowers decorate the hall’s table and the nativity scene in the stable shed shares the story of the first Christmas.
