Turku Future Technologies – New Competencies and Cooperation in the Maritime Industry

Turku Future Technologies is a unique training, research, development and innovation network for the technology industry in Turku, starting in 2016. The network is administered by the cities of Turku and Rauma as well as the Turku Region Development Centre, with eight universities and universities of ap-plied sciences as contract parties.

Participants include Aalto University, Lappeenranta University of Technology, the University of Oulu, Tampere University of Technology, Turku University of Applied Sciences, the University of Turku, Novia University of Applied Sciences and Åbo Akademi. The universities and universities of applied sciences in the network provide companies with training, research, development and innovation services based on their spearheads.
