The welcome speech will be given by Director of the Recreation Division Minna Sartes. Maati Rehor, the new chief executive of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, will also introduce herself at the event.
You will catch a glimpse of the new Turku City Theatre musical: Anna Victoria Eriksson and Jussi Vahvaselkä will perform a song from the musical Viimeinen laiva (The Last Ship) as well as some entertaining gems from the older productions.
Library staff will be there to help you create your own Culture Card profile, and you can take part in a raffle by letting us know your best idea for an interesting and different Culture Card benefit.
You will also receive information about the cultural offering in Turku this autumn and catch the latest news about the new History Museum.
