The traditional Study in Turku fair will be held on 27 August from 10:00 to 14:00 on the Cathedral Terrace (Tuomiokirkon Terassi). Arrival at the fair requires pre-registration. NB! The fair is fully booked.

Safety Instructions

Detailed guidelines have been prepared to guide the activities of visitors, exhibitors and staff at the event. The guidelines are constantly updated with current regulatory guidelines and regulations.

Safety distances, space planning and route guidance

There are clear safety markings in the event area, these are highlighted

especially in places where queues may occur. Spatial planning takes into account larger safety distances than usual. Our entrances have staff and signs.

In situations where queues may occur, people should be reminded and helped

Hygiene

Our entrance is equipped with hand disinfectant machines and also the fair area

is equipped with several hand disinfectant points. Event area also has

hand washing facilities in toilets. Our cleaners check the common areas several times during the day.

Advice and information

Our premises have clear safety markings as well as hand washing and coughing instructions. Our trained staff will guide and advise you on site in everything.

We offer our customers face masks and disposable gloves at info point. There is a limited number of face masks available. There is a pre-registration for the event, where visitors book a certain time for entering. In this way, we keep the number of persons participating in the event is less than 500 at the same time.

The event follows the instructions and regulations issued by health officials relating to coronavirus at public events.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes.

The Study in Turku fair introduces new students to Turku. The services of the City of Turku, student and hobby organizations and companies will be presenting at the fair.

At the fair, new students will be introduced to the services and hobby opportunities of the City of Turku, local companies and associations, and student organizations. More than 50 exhibitors have registered for the fair.

The event has been moved to outdoor areas so that the fair can be conducted as safely as possible for both fair visitors and fair staff. The fair will be held more constricted this year. The maximum amount of people in the area is 500 (including exhibitors and other staff).

Arrival

Upon arrival at the fair area, the QR code of the entrance ticket is read at the gate, which is sent by email upon registration. For tutor groups, the tutor will receive an access code for their entire group, students arriving independently will receive a personal access ticket to their email.

Please arrive at the Study in Turku fair only in good health. Our staff will also come to work only completely healthy.
