All performances, competitions and matches must be organized without an audience both at indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Practice sessions are also wished to be organized without an audience. Necessary use of sports facilities requires a COVID-19 passport.
Sports facilities can be accessed by presenting a COVID-19 passport. Everyone over the age of 16 is required to show the passport at the city’s indoor sports facilities, Parkki field and instructed activities, excluding top-level sports referring to team athletes of the two highest league levels and Finnish championship level athletes. Those coming indoors for bringing a kid to practise also need to show a COVID-19 passport.
Outdoor sports facilities, such as ski tracks and natural ice fields are open and available for independent use.
Indoor sports facilities
All performances, competitions and matches must be organized without an audience. Practice sessions are also wished to be organized without an audience. Necessary use of sports facilities requires a COVID-19 passport.
Everyone over the age of 16 is required to present a COVID-19 passport at indoor sports facilities and instructed classes, excluding facilities with a capacity limit. Proof of identity is required when presenting the passport.
Over 15-year-olds are required to wear a face mask at all times except during exercise. Contacts should be avoided with other groups and unnecessary physical contact should be avoided during practise.
Outdoor sports facilities
All performances, competitions and matches must be organized without an audience. Practice sessions are also wished to be organized without an audience. Necessary use of sports facilities requires a COVID-19 passport.
COVID-19 passport is required at Parkki field and in supervised activities from everyone over the age of 16, excluding top-level athletes. More benches will be added to Parkki field to secure safety.
Safety distances must be taken into account and using a face mask is recommended at busy outdoor sports facilities.
COVID-19 passport is not required at ski tracks, trails, natural ice fields and other self-service outdoor sports facilties.
