In addition to the Mayors, the Management Group of the City includes the Directors of the Central Administration groups and the Divisional Directors, as well as the Personnel, Communications, and Strategy and Development Directors. The Secretary of the Management Group is Ari-Pekka Korhonen and the Management Group is assisted by Executive Assistant Anna Bertoft.
The person responsible for the curriculum of the Management Group in support of the Mayor is Director of the Administration Group Tuomas Heikkinen together with the secretaries and members of the Management Group.
Senior official representatives participate in the meetings by invitation.
The tasks of the Turku City Management Group include:
- directing the operations of the City group
- defining the policies of significant matters relevant to the City
- developing the operations and decision-making preparation of the Central Administration
