Environmental Health Care
The task of the Environmental Health Care is to prevent health hazards caused by the environment. Environmental Health Care is responsible for the supervision, counselling, and inspection tasks in the Turku City region required by the health care, food, product safety, and tobacco laws.
Environmental Health care is also responsible for organizing veterinary emergency services and animal disease control together with the neighbouring municipalities.
Environmental Health Care is managed by Environmental Health Chief Olli Sjövall.
