Additional buses
On line 1 between the Market Square and the Harbour, buses will run more frequently and until a later hour than usual during the event. Buses run every 5 minutes between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. On Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July, buses will run until 2:30 a.m. The departure stop is T6 (situated in front of Åbo Svenska Teatern) at the Market Square and buses run to the harbour via Linnankatu. This means that the river front is easily accessible by bus.

The Tall Ships Races sailing event offers youths the chance to be a part of the ships’ crews as a trainee in events hosted around the world.
The City of Turku supports this youth sailing ideology by offering fifty 15–25-year-olds the chance to participate in the event’s sailing sections.
