Health status review
An Employment Services Unit nurse will perform a health check-up on the customer during which the nurse assesses the need for care and support and provides health advice and guidance. If needed, the nurse will programme a referral to a laboratory and book an appointment to a health centre doctor, or guide the customer to some other health care service.
Work ability assessment
If needed, the customer of the Employment Services Unit can be guided to a specialist for a work ability assessment.
Turku Supplement for Employers is meant to support the intermediate labour market as well as help the long-term unemployed to find employment from the open markets. The supplement is paid to the employer and it is meant to be used for the costs caused by the employment.
Turku Supplement can be applied for by employers who hire a person who has been unemployed and received labour market subsidy for over 300 days. The working hours of the employed person must be at least 25h/week.

One may also register in person at either Työpiste at the City of Turku or the Southwest Finland TE Office.
Turku’s Ohjaamo collects several services meant for under 30-year-olds under one roof. Ohjaamo is a low-threshold service point in the centre of Turku. It offers employment and rehabilitation services, as well as information and guidance services for young people, among other things. You can come to us without referrals and free of charge. The Employment Services Centre offers guidance and advice for young and long-term unemployed to help them find employment. Services are based on personal guidance with the aim of charting the initial situation, needs, wishes and goals. A personal employment plan will be made based on the assessment.
Services of the Employment Services Centre are primarily intended for unemployed persons who have raised Labour Market Subsidy for over 300 days. TE Services is responsible for other unemployed persons. Turku City Employment Services Centre serves only Turku residents.
