After 1 Jan 2016 a fee of 37.20 euros will be charged from an outpatient clinic visit regardless of whether the visit was to a doctor or to some other healthcare professional performing a procedure.
If the patient is sent from one outpatient clinic to another during the same day, only one fee will be charged.
If the patient is taken in to a hospital immediately after an outpatient clinic visit, an institutional care fee will be charged instead of an outpatient clinic fee.
A fee of 20,90 € will be charged from all 18-year-olds and above for a visit to a health centre doctor. The fee will be charged a maximum of three times per year. The fee is valid also in Health Care for Seafarers.
You will be exempted from Health Centre Fees if you are a resident in Turku and you can present a:

Social and Health Care Services charge client fees for home care, health care and oral health care. Client fees are determined by legislation.
Annual ceiling has been set to the costs of social and health care services.
