Archives of the Environmental Division

The Environmental Division comprises Building Control, Urban Planning, Environmental Protection, and Environmental Health Care. The Regional Public Transport acts as part of the Environmental Division.

The oldest documents of the Environmental Division have been moved to the City Archives. The newest documents are being kept within the division, and out of them the most wanted materials are:

• the master drawings and special plans (structure, ventilation, water, and plumbing blueprints) related to building permits from 1990 onwards
• other documents related to building permits and other permits, e.g. permission applications and decisions approximately from 1978 onwards
• city plans and related documents
• master plans and related documents
• plans related to street, park, and public areas
• minutes of property health checks
• certificates of food establishments
• decisions related to health protection
• minutes of committees

You can order document copies and reports from the persons responsible for the archives. Copies and reports are subject to fees. You can study the documents of Building Control, Urban Planning, and Environmental Protection at the customer service point of the Environmental Division.
