Turku Region Interpretation Centre offers professional community interpreting, document translations, and customer training
Turku Region Interpretation Centre is a regional, municipal interpretation centre that offers community interpreting and translation services for officials working with immigrants. Also private persons can order translations.
Turku Region Interpretation Centre offers services in over 70 languages. The interpreters in the centre are obligated to secrecy and they follow the code of professional conduct for community interpreters. It is also possible for an official to order an interpreter outside office hours, in the evenings and on weekends, via the service number.
Turku Region Interpretation Centre recommends that because of COVID-19 situation, remote interpreting should be favoured. Remote interpreting can be ordered as interpretation via phone or interpretation via conference calls. It can also be arranged via different kinds of meeting platforms. Instructions for using meeting platforms can be requested by contacting interpreter coordination.
