Tree felling in the city area

Before any landscape-altering actions, such as, excavating, quarrying, tree felling or other comparable actions are taken, the permit for landscape work has to be applied for.

Forms required for tree felling:

Felling of just one tree may require a permit.

The Planning Office of the Environmental and City Planning Department can evaluate whether a permit is required or not. The evaluation service is free of charge, and, if needed, the Planning Office also gives advice on how to apply for a permit.

Cases with little value landscape-wise are recorded into a database where they can be retrieved when needed.
