Sisältö« Takaisin edelliselle sivulle 3.7.2012 Their duties officially begin at the start of 2013 The City of Turku has selected its Divisional DirectorsThe Turku City Board meeting on 25 June 2012 selected Divisional Directors for five Divisions that are being created as a result of organisational reform. The new Divisions are: Welfare, Education, Property, Environmental, and Leisure. The Divisional Director chosen for the Welfare Division is Riitta Liuksa, who is currently Executive Director of Health Care and Social Services. The Divisional Director chosen for the Education Division is Timo Jalonen, who is currently Director of Education. The Divisional Director chosen for the Property Division is Jouko Turto who is currently Corporate Managing Director. The Divisional Director chosen for the Environmental Division is Markku Toivonen, who is currently Director of the Master Planning Office. The Divisional Director chosen for Leisure is Minna Sartes, who is currently Director of Cultural Services. Applicants for the Divisional Director positions were sought through an internal notification procedure whereby the vacancies for the Divisional Director positions were filled by transferring individuals from their current position to that of Divisional Director. Seven people applied for the vacancies.
