Education for Immigrants

The Adult Education of the Turku Vocational Institute provides diverse training in Finnish and foreign languages as well as in different cultures and professional fields. 

In addition to language and professional vocationally oriented employment training for immigrants, we prepare language courses for companies, as well as EU funded training and development projects. 

The Adult Education Unit offers preparatory courses and vocationally oriented employment training for instance in the fields of logistics, welfare and office work. Among the most popular courses are the ICT introductions and the courses for obtaining the Food Hygiene Proficiency Certificate, i.e. Hygiene Passport.
