The test application shows you where the most current events on the Turku Events Calendar are located on the map and the distance to them. Smart phones should have GPS services available, so you can check out how the service works.

The Turku Events Calendar mobile version makes it easier to see what is currently happening in Turku and how close the event in question is. The Events Calendar list displays the distance between the user and an event?s location using GPS location.

Additionally, the most current events can be seen on Google maps, so it is easy to put together your preferred route to several events.

The mobile service currently works on Apple?s iPhone, Android phones and Nokia's Lumia. Unfortunately, phones that use the Symbian operating system, such as Nokia E 7 do not necessarily work.

Because the mobile service uses Google's mapping application, cookies also have to be enabled for this service.
