What is Adventure Park?

Located on the edge of Kupittaa Park, Adventure Park is an activity centre for children and families alike. Adventure Park is part of the national network of children's culture centres . Since its opening in 1982, Adventure Park has served as a provider of children's culture. Regularly changing theatre performances, participative events and workshop activities are the cornerstones of Adventure Park operations. Adventure Park is part of City of Turku Youth Services.

In the summer, the lush green park, with its wide range of playground equipment, offers features not to be found in an ordinary park. The mushroom fountain and wading pool, a brook wending its way through the heart of the park and Traffic Town are all elements that make Adventure Park a truly unique family destination. In the winter, supervised open activities, theatre performances and regular hobby group gatherings are offered indoors.

The Adventure Park area is always open and free of charge. A fee is charged for supervised activities and performances.
