The feedback service www.turku.fi/palaute taken into use by the City of Turku in 2012 has turned out to be a useful and easy way for the city residents to be in contact with the city.
The feedback service accepts positive and negative feedback alike and development propositions on city services, operation and decision-making. The amount of feedback received by the city has tripled since the service was taken into use. In 2016, the number of feedback received was 19 772, of which 10 375 was public feedback.

As the feedback interface has been opened, public feedback can be viewed on the open interface. The interface is in accordance with the Open 311 standard and is intended for the City of Turku feedback system. The interface enables reading public feedback given by city residents.

Giving feedback is possible. Please contact opendata@turku.fi for more information.
    Examples:
Due to the length of the feedback list, the latter also requires a time period, such as https://api.turku.fi/feedback/v1/requests.xml?start_date=2017-01-01T00:00:00Z&end_date=2017-01-07T00:00:00Z
The data is available in JSON format by replacing the ending .xml with .json.
Opening the feedback interface is related to the ERDF funded Six City Strategy (6Aika) open data spearhead project that is carried out in Turku, Oulu, Vantaa, Tampere, Espoo and Helsinki. The cities have agreed on new interfaces, including the standard Open311 interface that has now been opened.
