  • The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) recommends fourth vaccinations for all who have reached the age of 80 and for all elderly residents of care homes. Reasons for fourth vaccinations include getting more effective protection against severe disease requiring hospitalisation, and especially to prevent fatalities. Fourth doses for those living in care homes for the elderly are recommended for all residents; no specific minimum age has been set.

  • Electronic booking is now available online: turku.fi/eterveyspalvelut (in Finnish)
