On April 7, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare announced that the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine will continue for the time being in Finland in people aged 65 and over, as no blood clots have been found in this age group. The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare announced on April 14 that other coronavirus vaccines (Comirnaty or Moderna vaccines) can already be used as the second dose vaccination for people under the age of 65, whose second dose appointments are booked for the coming weeks.
