The Initial social services gives you general information on the social services. You will also get help in applying for complementary and preventive social assistance.

We guide you also in the following matters:

◾issues relating to the customer service of the social work
◾financial difficulties
◾problems in the everyday life
◾addiction problems
◾other challenges in life
◾social credit

The initial social sevices will evaluate your situation and guide you to the right services. You can reserve an appointment for a social advisor or a social worker if you consider it necessary.

You can get customer service by phone, chat and in the information desk (in Finnish: Info-piste). You can get service without booking prior appointment in the address Linnankatu 23.
