Your local health station is your primary provider of health care services in all cases of accidents and illness.
Who to contact about health issues?
Are you experiencing clear symptoms such as a cough or sore throat? Fill in a symptom evaluation form in the Omaolo service. If you cannot find a suitable form, take the general symptom survey.
The Omaolo service can be accessed at any time of the day. Symptom evaluations are processed at health stations on business days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will be given recommendations and instructions according to the information you submitted.
Contact your health station online
You can manage your personal or your family’s health issues that do not require urgent attention through the digital health care e-Services of the City of Turku, including, for example:
- book new appointments
- cancel or postpone reserved appointments
- contact your personal attending physician
- access laboratory test results
- browse your health information
Log in to the service with your online banking credentials or your Mobile ID. Using the service is free of charge.
Booking a health station appointment by phone (02) 266 1130
Health centres of Turku City have one joint telephone number for appointment booking (02) 266 1130.
When you call, a nurse will assess your condition and your need for treatment. Pay careful attention to the instructions provided during the call. If you want a nurse to call you back, you may leave a call request. It may also be possible to wait in a queue depending on the length of the queue.
The office hours of the health station appointment booking number are:
- Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Pansio health station Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–3 p.m. The telephone number of Pansio health station remains the same as before, (02) 266 1031
- Coronavirus helpline (02) 266 2714, opening hours Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

Cancel the appointment if you are unable to attend
You can cancel an appointment through the telephone service at any time of the day. Appointments can also be cancelled in the health care e-Services. All cancellations must be made by 12 midnight on the previous day. All uncancelled physician appointments and physician appointments cancelled after this deadline are subject to an uncancelled appointment fee.
