Impivaara offers nearly 50 hours of instructed exercise per week. Instruction is organized for people at different levels both in the pool and at the gyms.

The selection includes something for everyone, from beginner to more advanced levels. For the physically impaired and persons whose ability to function has lowered due to age, injury, or illness can participate in adapted exercise classes. The instructors and lifeguards at Impivaara are glad to help you to find a suitable group.

The language of instruction is mainly Finnish, but e.g. in swimming schools the instructors can give advice also in English.

Aqua aerobics and supervised aquajogging

Impivaara’s classes include shallow- and deep-water aqua aerobics and supervised aquajogging. There are two levels for each of these: light and advanced. The light classes are for beginners and those who prefer a slower pace. The advanced classes are for those looking for slightly more strenuous exercise.

Advance booking is necessary. After booking classes are open to those who have paid the entry fee plus a class fee. The fees must be paid in advance to the swimming centre’s cashier. The instructor will check this electronically before the class begins.
