In order to celebrate Europe Day, Europe Direct in Finland Proper organizes a Europe-themed drawing contest for 3rd to 9th year students. The contest ends on 27 April 2016.

The aim of the contest is to awaken students and teachers to discuss what Europe, our continent, is like and how we could all live together in peace with our differences even in future. The drawings should represent these thoughts. There are no further limitations to the subject.

The best entries will be compiled into an exhibition which will be displayed in the entrance hall gallery of the Regional Council of Southwest Finland (at Ratapihankatu 36, Turku) between May 2 and May 13. It is possible to admire the artworks during the opening hours of the Council on weekdays 9.00–15.00.

The winners will be in for some fun prizes and the top prize is a fine package of art supplies. The contest ends on 27 April 2016.
