The Strike of JHL

The Trade Union for the Public and Welfare Sectors (JHL) organised a strike between the 6th and the 8th of November 2019 to oppose the decision of Arkea to use the collective labor agreements that are used in the maintenance, cleaning and meal services in general.

Arkea invited The Trade Union for the Public and Welfare Sectors (JHL) and The Federation of Public and Private Sector Employees (Jyty) to negotiate on an eventual local agreement. However, the negotiations did not lead to any result on the 12th of November 2019.

JHL announced on the 26th of November a new strike between the 27th of November and the 29th of November 2019.
