Keeping in shape, exercising and keeping spirits up by different means is always important but particularly now during the state of emergency caused by coronavirus.
Fitness trails and fitness equipment in their proximity continue to be available for everyone as long as safety distances and Government policies on gathering are respected. Fitness equipment should be cleaned before use and it may be a good idea to use safe gloves during exercise as a precaution. In order to minimise the risk of contagion, it is important that not too many people are exercising in same areas at the same time.
There are several stairs in Turku where you can work out, for instance at Kuuvuori, Rieskalähteentie, near the funicular at Linnankatu, Raunistula school, Samppalinnanmäki and Köydenpunojankatu.
