ICLEI and the city of Turku will co-host an online session on 28 September as part of the World Circular Economy Forum 2020 to support local governments in putting the circular economy in practice.

The concept of the circular economy is gaining traction at the local level but many local governments struggle to find concrete entry points to this holistic concept. In particular, the management of circular economy projects clashes with the sectoral manner in which administrations and industries are organized.

This session hosted by ICLEI and the city of Turku will showcase practical examples of how cities from different world regions have put circularity into practice through cross-sectoral collaboration (e.g. city-business partnerships, public participation, city-research cooperation). During the session, cities from different world region will showcase tangible examples of multi-stakeholder collaboration for the circular transition and discuss specific challenges they are facing.

Join us on Monday 28th of September, 3:00-4:30pm (UTC + 3) and save your spot by registering here.
