Pharmacy Museum and Qwensel House

The museum shop offers unique items for Christmas gifts, both small and perhaps even a bit bigger. Delight your loved ones with a traditional pharmacy salmiak or barley candy. In addition to these, the shop also sells lovely gifts, interior decorations and books.

    On Saint Lucia's Day (13 December), the museum shop wants to add its own light to brighten the darkness! We offer a 15% discount on all candles, candleholders and sconces.  

Biological Museum

The museum shop offers all kinds of lovely nature-related Christmas gifts for children and adults alike. The shop offers books on squirrels and mires, not to mention a wide variety of plush animals, ranging from moose and otters to dinosaurs. 

  • Christmas event at the Biological Museum shop on 17 December, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    On the day of the Christmas event, you can also take part in a workshop where the theme is the winter feeding of birds. Come and discuss winter feeding and make your own garden fat ball to feed the birds for Christmas. Participants pay the museum admission fee for the workshop.

Luostarinmäki

The museum shop selection offers a host of unique gift ideas, including handicrafts and traditional Christmas decorations, such as Thomas Crosses and elf fold-outs. Hand-made candles wrapped in the Christmas Peace Declaration paper are sure to delight the gift recipient, bringing atmosphere to their home. Christmas greetings are sent from Luostarinmäki with the museum's own, special postmark.

    Come meet the sheep from the Tyynelä Farm in front of the museum shop from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The sheep theme continues in the museum shop from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.. Knitwear designer Jenna Kostet will be talking about her popular Kalevala-themed knitwear and presenting examples of them. Jenna Kostet's recent publication, Neulottu Kalevala, is also available for purchase. The book is al-so available in English: Knitted Kalevala.
    Mulled wine will be served from 11 am to 2 pm.

Turku Castle

Museum Shop Fatabur is positively overflowing with all manner of items, which are perfect Christmas gifts. The Museum Shop selection includes Christmas products from the Finnish-made Kanelimamma line, which includes Christmas toffee, gingerbread coffee and Christmas tea. The handmade cheese slicer shaped like Turku Castle is a beautiful accent for any Christmas table setting and Turku Castle ginger-bread cookie cutters made by a tinsmith will help you stock up on your homemade Christmas treats. There are handmade knight and princess costume accessories for children's gifts, such as shields, swords, crowns, banners, hobby horses and even hobby dragons.

    Come to us for your Christmas shopping and take in Turku Castle’s light art installation, which is part of the Path of Light event. The Museum Shop and Duke John’s Cellar are open until 8:00 p.m.  

WAM

The museum shop offers a wide range of books, art supplies, jewellery, games and fun gifts. The selec-tion includes Finnish art supplies by Wennström, games by Kehvola, Finnish-made jewellery from Silvart, Upcycle with Jing and Shake and products of the unofficial mascot of Turku Posankka.

    Come to us for your Christmas shopping and admire the WAM light art installation, which is part of the Path of Light event. You can also make your own personal gift tag for the gifts you buy between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. WAM and Cafe Wäinö will be open until 8:00 p.m.
