Turku participates in the Green City Accord which encourages cities toward environmental protection. The cities meet each other to share best practises. Turku hosts the learning session on 17 November, with the topics of circular economy and biodiversity. The learning session is organised through the online platform Zoom, and the opening day is open to all (registration required). The learning session will be held in English.

Turku hosts the peer learning session on 17-19 November. The participating cities are from Portugal, Estonia and Poland.

The open session on Wednesday 17 November is intended to all cities that are taking part in the Green City Accord initiative. All inhabitants of Turku are welcome to join the session (remember to register).

The learning session is organised by ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability which is a global newrokg of sustainable cities.
