The much-anticipated Sunday flea market is coming to the renewed Market Square. Are you the organizer of the flea market event for the upcoming summer season? Apply by 30th of March!
Based on a concept-based tender, the Urban Environment Division rents the sales area (“Myyntialue”) of the Turku Market Square to a flea market operator for summer Sundays. An entrepreneur or association organizing a Sunday flea market is being sought for the Market Square for the period June 4–September 24, 2023.
In the evaluation of the concepts, previous experience in organizing events, a business idea suitable for the market and an offer for land rent for the entire flea market season are taken into account. Knowledge of the industry is also considered as an advantage. In your application, briefly state your experience, your flea market concept (including an outline of the earning model) and your rental offer.
Informal rental offers must be submitted by e-mail by 21.00 on 30 March 2023 to the address kaupunkiymparistotoimiala@turku.fi and the title of the message ”Kauppatorin kirpputoritarjous” ("Market Square flea market offer").
