Jarkko Virtanen works as Director of Corporate Governance.

The task of the Deputy Mayor is to be responsible – alongside and in support of the Mayor – for the strategic guidance of land use, the ownership of the service network and the guidance of the city level service network solutions, as well as the guidance and supervision of Central Administration community owners.

Director of Corporate Governance, for one, sees to that the objectives set by the City Council and the City Board actualize. Director of Corporate Governance represents the city at domestic and foreign interest group events and negotiations.
