The coronavirus helpline for school and student health care is closed throughout the summer, beginning from 13 May.

The helpline is open daily 8:00-15:00 until 12 June. From 13 June helpline serves from Mon to Thu 8:00–15:00 and Fri 8:00–13:00.

- Helpline is available between 8 am and 11 am from Monday to Friday.
Calls are taken by nurses in school and student health care. They provide guidance and instructions in matters related to coronavirus. When necessary, they also provide referrals for coronavirus testing. The service is intended for pupils in basic education, upper secondary school students and students in vocational institutions and universities of applied sciences. In other matters related to health and wellbeing, please contact the school nurse of your school.
School Health Care is statutory and free of charge. It aims to promote student's health and to support their healthy growth, development and mental wellbeing in co-operation with parents, teachers and other student welfare services.
Student Health Care aims to support students in maintaining their ability to study, conducting self-care, having adequate life management skills as well as in reaching and maintaining their ability to function.
Student Health Care provides health care services only for students studying in upper secondary vocational institutions or polytechnics in the City of Turku, regardless of their place of domicile. Student health care of universities is organized by the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS).
