The purpose and goal of subsidized work is to increase work experience, improve labor market readiness or attendance in education.
You have the possibility for a subsidized work period, if you have received labor market subsidy for over 200 days or you are under 30 years old.
The goal of the period is:
- to improve skills and conditions for work
- to improve economic circumstances
- to improve life management and well-being
Subsidized work places are located in the different divisions of the city, private businesses and organizations.
Sometimes combining one’s personal life and working life requires personally tailored and active solutions that take into account both personal abilities and also personal restrictions.
The professionals at Työpiste help you in finding the suitable way to working life for you. After the information session held every Monday, you have the possibility to listen to a short presentation about the services provided by our multisectoral team.
What do we offer you here at Osaamiskeskus?
Immigrant’s ‘Osaamiskeskus’ provides job-seeking support for all residents of Turku whose mother-tongue is a language other than Finnish. Among other things, our services include enhancing your job opportunities and helping you develop your Finnish skills. The services are part of the new International House Turku services that are under construction.
The staff of Osaamiskeskus is offering advice to entrepreneurs and business owners in different languages, for example for making applications for financial support.
