Who is this funding meant for?
Project funding can be applied for by groups of 13-19-year-olds who live or study in Turku. A group must consist of at least three people.
Funding is granted for functional projects that are planned and realized by the groups themselves and benefit as many people as possible. The maximum amount granted for one group is 2000 euros. A total of over 10,000 euros of project funding is granted annually. Read the rules before applying.
The project grants are meant for the financial support of free youth activity groups and youth activities organized by the youths themselves. Examples of such activities are camps and any other functions realized and organized by young persons that support the participation and influencing of the youth.
A precondition for granting financial assistance is that at least two thirds of the members of the youth organisations and the youth activity groups are under the age of 29.
Nuortenideat.fi (Ungasidéer.fi) is a free-of-charge low-threshold influencing service where the youth can voice their opinions via enquiries and discussions in Finnish and Swedish.
Nuortenideat.fi is a tool for hearing the opinions of the youth, discussing them, and taking them into account in decision-making. The aim is to offer the youth happy experiences of participation and an accessible and democratic channel of influencing.
