With help of this list you can check that your meeting arrangements meet the principles of sustainability. By doing that you will ensure that the carbon footprint caused by the meeting is as small as possible.

Congress City Turku Finland is a network comprising the City of Turku and partner companies. The network serves customers who organise international congresses and meetings in Turku. The partner companies of Congress City Turku Finland are leading meeting and party venues, hotels and companies from the archipelago region offering entertainment services with extensive experience in their branch. They serve international customers in fluent English – and even Swedish.
Turku is an ideal venue also for big meetings and events. Turku is Finland’s oldest city with approximately 2000 hotel rooms in the city centre. All hotels are situated in a walking distance from each other and from the Aurajoki river. The riverfront of Aurajoki is a beautiful and fascinating area, where you will find large banquet halls, restaurants, cafés, galleries, interior decor shops, museums and the nearly 800-year-old Turku castle.
What do we offer you here at Osaamiskeskus?
Immigrant’s ‘Osaamiskeskus’ provides job-seeking support for all residents of Turku whose mother-tongue is a language other than Finnish. Among other things, our services include enhancing your job opportunities and helping you develop your Finnish skills. The services are part of the new International House Turku services that are under construction.
The staff of Osaamiskeskus is offering advice to entrepreneurs and business owners in different languages, for example for making applications for financial support.
