STEAM由来

Monitori Market Square is located on the edge of the Turku Market Square in KOP-kolmio’s premises at Aurakatu 8, 20100 TURKU. Most Turku Region Traffic buses stop in or near our area. Parking is limited in the city centre and you should be prepared for parking fees. There are two separate entrances to the corridor connecting the different business premises of KOP-kolmio, both of which are accessible. Monitori Market Square is located along the corridor.

The customer guidance of Työpiste at Monitori Market Square provides unemployed jobseekers with wide-ranging, early-stage guidance on various employment, education and rehabilitation opportunities, among other things. We also advise companies at different stages of employment.

Monitori Market Square provides free guidance and information on support services such as food, home care and cleaning services, as well as various transport services and informal care.The service counsellors can also come visit the client at home.

Monitori Market Square is a joint centralised customer service point of the City of Turku, Kela and the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland located right at the centre of Turku on the corner of the Market Square. Monitori serves its customers face-to-face, by phone or by chat.

Monitori Market Square is a joint accessible customer service centre of the City, Kela and the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland located in the heart of Turku.
Every week Monitori offers services by the service counsellors of the units of the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland, Kela’s customer advisers and International House Turku, which offers service in several different languages. Monitori also provides tourist information and Työpiste customer guidance.
Twelve proposals were selected as winners of Ignite Turku competition. We are working with winners and other ideas selected for further development. The first implimentations have already come true.
Winning ideas to be implemented through partnerships:
Digital transformation is a cross-cutting priority for City of Turku and region of Southwest Finland. Turku’s flagship project Smart and Wise Turku aims to help the city to prepare for climate change and the challenges brought by urbanisation and ageing population with the use of digitalisation and the data it produces. Green transition is a top priority for the City of Turku and the region of Southwest Finland, which can be seen in the ambitious climate and environmental policies. Located by the Baltic Sea, region of Southwest Finland has strong historical roots in the maritime business. Today, Turku region is the most important production cluster of Finnish maritime industry. Sustainable blue growth is key as Turku and Southwest Finland strive to protect the vulnerable Baltic Sea and to preserve the unique biodiversity of the Archipelago Sea.
