Lords’ Cellar is one of the most unusual and intimate rooms of the Main Castle. The Cellar has an arched ceiling that differs from other conventional arched structures of the time. The atmospheric arches were built in the 14th century. The Land Court established in Turku by Eric of Pomerania held its sessions in the Lords’ Cellar. The Cellar may be rented for closed events when deemed appropriate.

The home of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra is a traditional hall which hosts, among other events, the Degree Ceremonies of the Universities of Turku.
The building is the first in Finland specifically built for concert use, and the building has mostly maintained its original 1952 functional style. The lobby and reception areas are also suitable for event use.

Sigyn Hall is built in the grounds of the shipyard hall completed in 1928 and the rope factory built in 1934. The Turku Fair Center has the longest and most diverse experience in hosting large conferences, congresses and exhibitions in Turku. The Center contains a modern auditorium, four exhibition halls and its own reliable technical department, the Turku Fair Service. This recently renovated administrative building dates back to 1967. It is a prime example of the architecture of its time. The Aitiopaikka banquet hall contains the building’s original protected stone wall. Situated on the Aura River, next to the Turku City Theatre, the large terrace provides a view of the river and the Independence Square.

Brimming with history, Duke John’s Cellar is located in the Castle bailey. Built in the 16th century, it has served many functions over the centuries, for instance as a governor’s formal residence. Turku Castle Banquet Halls are a unique, historical venue. Duke John and Katarina Jagellonica held the Renaissance Court in the King´s Hall, Queen´s Hall and Queen´s Chamber in the 1560s. Duke John’s Renaissance Banquet is a famous programme for dinner, where guests travel back in time to experience the ambiance and culture of 1562.
