Traffic planning means the planning of traffic arrangement principles and the manoeuvring of traffic flows. Questions such as how much space should be reserved for car traffic, should bicycles and pedestrians have routes separate from car traffic, and where to put pedestrian crossings and bus stops, can be solved with planning.
