Steam engine Ukko-Pekka in the Turku region

The largest steam engine in Finland, known as “Ukko-Pekka,” with its vintage cars will serve passengers in the Turku region on the weekend of 19-20 September 2020. Tickets (available on board the train, cash payment only): €10–35, children 4–16 years –50%, children younger than 4 years, free entry
The weekend program invites lovers of music, dance, sports and history all to join in on the celebration. For example, many museums have free entry on Turku Day. The city, local organizations, companies and associations have all participated in making the Turku Day an amazing event.
In 2020, Turku Day will be celebrated on Sunday, September 20th.

The festivities of Turku Day will take place on September 17 on both sides of the river! The culmination of the day will be the traditional fireworks from Samppalinnanmäki at 9 p.m.
