As a resident of Turku you have been assigned with your own local health station based on your residential area, but you may change your own health station if you wish. You can also choose health centre services more broadly from other municipalities than your place of domicile.
Changing a health station within Turku affects only the practices of health station nurses and doctors.

If your appointment to a health centre doctor or nurse requires a check-in, please arrive approximately fifteen minutes in advance. Take your KELA card (social insurance card) with you.
Doctors’ appointments are subject to a fee. If you have a right to be exempted from paying, please check in at the office of the health centre and present your proof. If you do not have the proof with you, please tell us and bring the proof after your appointment as soon as possible, so that we can cancel your invoice.
