Turku Day appro has been postponed

Turku Day appro -event what was planned to be on Turku Day 20th of September will not be held. City of Turku is working on finding a new date for the event.

Jutta Peltoniemi who is physician in charge of communicable diseases in City of Turku Welfare Division recommends along with University of Turku and Åbo Akademi student associations, that student events should not be held this week or the next. Taking into account increased disease situation in Turku area, postponing Turku Day appro is a right thing to do for the safety of the university students.

 The City of Turku regrets the situation and wishes that all the students would find something to do on Turku Day. http://www.turku.fi/en/turku-day
