Borenaukio is a park on the west bank of Aurajoki river that is suitable for small events.

The area gets its name from the office and residential building owned by the steamship company Bore that housed the company’s headquarters until 1976 and is still called the Bore House.

The square is located along a busy route and is suitable for, for example, small events and stalls for presenting and selling products.

Transport links and parking: The venue is located near Turku city centre.

Practical considerations:

  • Most of the venue is taken over by a car park, and there is also a fast food kiosk on site. Access to the fast food kiosk must be taken into consideration when organising the event.
  • The park has a kiosk, two sculptures and flower beds.
  • Läntinen Rantakatu must not be blocked during events.
