Yle and the City of Turku welcome everyone to join the event
Yle and the City of Turku are working together to make the event as accessible as possible. The event area is fenced, but entry is free and open to all. The park’s pathways are even sand routes, and grass areas are also accessible. A viewing platform for people with reduced mobility is located near the main stage. Playground areas are fenced but remain freely accessible to children throughout the event.
A successful event is made together: the event follows safer space principles, meaning harassment and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated. If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, please contact the staff. Everyone is also encouraged to keep the area clean – please dispose of your trash properly.
There will be plenty of adults on hand to help and guide. If you need assistance, speak to the event's security staff in high-visibility vests. In addition, Turku’s youth workers will be present in Kupittaa on Saturday to provide support and safe encounters for young people throughout the day.
