The Sports Committee decides on matters such as fees, exemptions and discounts for sports facilities and services, as well as the general principles for allocating shifts. In addition, the Sports Committee awards grants to sports clubs and to associations that organise physical activities.
The committee has 13 members selected by the City Council. Each member has a personal deputy.
